τέρσομαι, [voice] Pass., with [tense] aor. inf. τερσῆναι, τερσήμεναι (v. infr.), as if from ἐτέρσην:—A to be or become dry, dry up, ἕλκος ἐτέρσετο παύσατο δ' αἷμα the wound dried up and the blood was staunched, Il.11.267, 848; ; θειλόπεδον τέρσεται ἠελίῳ is baked by the sun, Od.7.124; ;ὅταν [τὰ ῥάκεα] ἐν ἡλίῳ τέρσηται Hp.Mul.1.11
